The Leader of the Time is Emerging From the Desert of Hijaz (Basharat By Allama Iqbal)

The Guide of The Time (خضرِ وقت)

A 'Basharat' by Allama Iqbal in his book Zabur-e-Ajam

خضر وقت از خلوت دشت حجاز آید برون
'The Guide, The Leader of the Time will emerge from the Desert of Hijaz'

English Translation:
  1. The Guide, Leader of the time, is emerging from the solitude of the desert of Hijaz
    The caravan, is emerging from this far away valley
  2. Behold! From the eyebrow of the slave I see the Sultan splendor bright
    The dust of Ayaz shines radiantly! With Mahmud’s torch alight!!
  3. In Ka‘bah and Temple long, long years the deep lament arose
    Till from Love’s banquet now appears One Man who the Secret knows.!!
  4. The Sighs break out of the bosom of people who are earnest in prayer
    A brave and new foundation is being made in Life’s mind everywhere
  5. Oh! Take the trembling lute (musical instrument) from me, For my hand can play no more!!
    My melody is like a stream of blood, that pours out from the musical instrument of my heart!!
دیگر دانائے راز آید کہ نآید
(کوئی دوسرا راز کو سمجھنے والا آتا ہے یا نہیں آتا)

    mujahid bhai asal mein mujh jese ek aam se admi ko yeh baat preshan kerti hai k mumtaz mufti ne 40,50 saal pehle ki peshgoiyan ikathi ki theen aur kaah tha k acha waqt anay wala hai,lakin esa abhi tak nahi hua,phir prof ahmad rafiq ,wasif sahib,ishfaq sahib,in sab ne bar bar yehi kaha lakin kisi k kahay huey ko 20 sal ho gaye kisi k kahay ko 5 saal huey,kuch bhi nahi hua.

    esay mein wohi ayat yaad ati hai jis ka mafhum hai k Allah us waqt tak logon ki halat nahi badalta jab tak woh khud apni haalat na badalein.aaj bhi jab is mulk k logon se baat kerain toh woh inn hukmranoun ko bura samajhte hain lakin apne marz ki dawa issi kufr k nizam mein dhundte phirte hain.toh itni jaldi aap k khyal mein kya log apne nazariyat badal lein ge?kyun ke meri samajh k mutabiq toh jab tak woh apni soch nahi badlein ge,koi nahi aye ga inqilab lanay aur kuch nahi ho ga.

    and you know its also a prediction by Allama Iqbal that extreme chaos and destruction in whole world is a big sign of 'Guide of time/Mard-e-Kamil's arrival. That particular poem/couplet will be added in some future post.

    Closely watching the events unfolding at an extraordinary pace for the last 6 months, i have also been keeping tab on this blog for some time. No doubt its astonishing. Ghayoor bhai, just to remind you and all brothers here that day before yesterday saudi crown prince, sultan bin Abdulaziz (who was next in line to become king after Abdullah, is dead. King Abdullah himself is admitted in the hospital for his third backbone surgery! Are you thinking what i am thinking?

    dots are getting connected everywhere. By the killing of Qaddafi and downfall of his regime alongwith lot of other arab nations proves out to be as predicted by Sheikh Nazim Kibrisi some time ago...

    Earthquake has hit Turkey today.Sultanul Auliya Maulana shaikh Nazim (May Allah sanctify His secret) had been warning Turkish people to leave dirty acts.One such sohbat was given 1 or 2 weeks ago.And today it has happened.a lot of buildings have collapsed.
    Its time for us as well to take advicce and do istaghfaar.

    No doubt the finality rests only with Allah, only He is the one who will decide when and how; what will happen. indeed 'nazar Allah peh rakhta hai musalman ghyoor...'

    The regime change in Pakistan does not seem to be that out of possibility. In fact, it may come sooner than expected given the present circumstances,i.e. downward spiral of politics of filth, tidal wave of vice and treason towards the sacred motherland and threatening posture of foreign powers vis a vis meek and spineless response from our political and military leadership. Perhaps it is around the corner as well...only Allah knows best.

    But why do we feel to be lingering on the edge these days...?
